Last Sunday David and I took part in a cruise on Sydney Harbour organised by Qantas as part of its 95th birthday celebrations. The cruise gave us a chance to photograph our beautiful city of Sydney from the Harbour. We were then encouraged to post our photos on Instagram. I admit I'm a newbie when it comes to Instagram but I do love Sydney so this week instead of my usual blog post I wanted to share with you some photos of the city we call home.
Sadly, the weather was against us. It was a wet and overcast day but the Harbour was, as always, beautiful.

The Sydney Harbour Bridge. |

An inner harbour commuter ferry. Don't you think it's a great name? |
The Harbour Bridge pylons are purely decorative but they do make for a nice photo. |
The Sydney Opera House likes to photo bomb - in this case a shot of the CBD skyline. |
Luna Park |
Shark Island or Clarke Island - honestly I have no idea! D says it is Shark Island. |
Another Opera House photo bomb. |
The Maritime Services Board Tower at Barangaroo is soon to be pulled down. I think it's a pity. |
The James Craig was launched in 1874. She is one of only a few 19th Century barques throughout the world to have been authentically restored. She is a true restoration, not a replica. |
